Position Overview:

As the Vice Presidentof Immersive Technology at Otherworld, you will play a pivotal role in drivingthe technological vision and strategy for our immersive experiences. You willlead a talented team of developers and engineers, overseeing the developmentand implementation of cutting-edge projection mapping, LED installations, andinteractive gaming systems. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend oftechnical expertise, creative vision, and leadership skills to spearheadinnovation in the immersive entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities: 

Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction andtechnical leadership in the areas of projection mapping, LED technology, andgame development. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends todrive innovation and maintain Otherworld's competitive edge.

Team Management:Build a network of third-party developers, engineers, and designers. Foster aculture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning to inspireexcellence and drive results.

Projection Mapping& LED Installations: Oversee the design, development, andimplementation of cutting-edge projection mapping and LED installations forimmersive experiences. Ensure seamless integration of visual effects andinteractive elements to create captivating environments.

Game Development:Lead the development and deployment of immersive gaming experiences usingUnity3D or similar software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams toconceptualize, design, and execute interactive gameplay mechanics and userinterfaces.

Technical Architecture:Define and architect scalable, robust, and innovative technical solutions forimmersive entertainment experiences. Collaborate with internal teams andexternal partners to optimize performance, reliability, and user experience.

Project Management:Drive the execution of multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence totimelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and maintain project plans,budgets, and resource allocations to effectively manage project scope anddeliverables.

Collaboration &Partnerships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with technologyvendors, content creators, and industry stakeholders to explore newopportunities and drive business growth. Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to align technology initiatives with business objectives and customerneeds. 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or related field.

·        Proven experience in a senior leadership roleoverseeing gaming technology strategy and execution.

·        Extensive experience with projection mappingtechnologies, LED installations, and interactive gaming systems.

·        Familiar with TouchDesigner, Unity3D and/orsimilar software, with a strong portfolio showcasing immersive experiences andinteractive gameplay.

·        Deep understanding of software developmentmethodologies, architectural principles, and best practices.

·        Excellent communication, leadership, andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influencecross-functional teams.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities,with a passion for innovation and creative exploration.
